Competition Rules and Conditions

1 Competition Name and Format

1.1 This competition will be called the "Skill-Based Financial Analysis Competition".

1.2 This is a purely skill-based competition, where the winner will be selected solely based on the points earned.

1.3 There is no element of lottery, lucky draw, chance, or random selection involved at any stage.

2 Organizer

2.1 This competition is organized by the owner of the flat (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").

2.2 The Organizer is not a SEBI-registered investment advisor.

3 Eligibility

3.1 Participants must be:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A resident of India
  • Holder of a valid PAN card

3.2 Only one entry per person is allowed.

3.3 Employees, relatives of the Organizer, and evaluators are not eligible for this competition.

4 Registration and Entry Fee

4.1 Entry Fee: ₹1500 per participant.

4.2 The entry fee includes:

  • Educational program on unlisted shares (general education only)
  • Participation in the skill-based competition

4.3 The entry fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

5 Educational Program (SEBI Compliant)

5.1 The educational material is for educational and informational purposes only.

5.2 This program will include the following:

  • Basic information on unlisted shares
  • Valuation concepts (theoretical)
  • Risk factors and liquidity concerns
  • Regulatory overview

5.3 This program does not include:

  • Buy/sell recommendations
  • Price targets
  • Guaranteed returns

6 Competition Structure and Scoring

Stage 1: Knowledge Test (40 marks)

  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Topics: Financial fundamentals, valuation concepts, regulatory awareness
  • Negative marking applicable

Stage 2: Case Study Analysis (40 marks)

  • Analysis of a hypothetical or historical unlisted company
  • Evaluation criteria:
    • Financial reasoning
    • Risk assessment
    • Logical consistency

Stage 3: Written Explanation / Interview (20 marks)

  • Justification of the analysis
  • Explanations and understanding of risks

Total marks: 100

7 Evaluation Process

7.1 Evaluation will be strictly based on predetermined scoring criteria.

7.2 An independent evaluator may be appointed.

7.3 Scores will be recorded and preserved for auditing purposes.

8 Winner Selection (Merit-based only)

8.1 The participant securing Rank 1 (highest total marks) will be selected.

9 Prize:

9.1 The winner of this merit-based skill competition will be awarded a 1BHK flat in Kelwe Road, Palghar. All rules and tax liabilities related to the prize transfer will apply to the winner.

10 Jurisdiction:

10.1 Any dispute or legal proceedings related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Palghar courts.
